Why, despite the deluge of British coffee shops, could I not get a decent espresso in Kent?!

So we opened our own!

Our objective was a simple yet excelling café experience, allowing our unique products to show their true worth all guided by skilled & passionate staff ... we're told we've achieved it!!

The Café

• We import our exclusive coffee from a historic roast house near Florence
• Our tea is served loose and is personally selected and blended for us by a master tea blender in West Kent
• The backbone of our menu is made up of ever-changing fresh salads prepared in-house along with platters that showcase cheeses and charcuterie from our delicatessen counter, and as we are licensed they can be matched perfectly with a Kentish beer or a glass of wine
• Our produce is artisanal, fresh and provenance rich. We know our producers and Kentish products are core to our offering

Opening times

• The café is open 7 days per week
  9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Saturday
  10.00am to 4.00pm Sunday
• Food is served throughout the day (last food orders will be taken 15 minutes before closing) or until stocks run dry!!

Booking is not necessary - just come along and pass your own judgment on that all important coffee!

Details

Our wonderful café is situated in what were our old oast, built over 100 years ago.

The café can be reached through our shop, past the delicatessen counter, so there is plenty to tempt you on your way in and out!!

We are child friendly with space for push chairs and wheelchairs alike, and with our large car park and ample seating we welcome coach parties. If you wish to come with a large group, we would be grateful if you are able to let us know when you expect to arrive so we can guarantee seating.
